Our Mission
Welcome to Norwich Spikers, the heart of volleyball in Norwich, since 2012! Whether you're an experienced player aiming to compete at the highest level or a newcomer looking to enjoy the sport recreationally, our club has something for everyone. We offer a dynamic and inclusive environment where you can improve your skills, whether you're playing, coaching, or refereeing. With a strong focus on personal development and a commitment to providing a safe, child-friendly, and supportive atmosphere, Norwich Spikers is dedicated to growing both competitive and community volleyball.
The aims and objectives of the club are:
- to offer coaching and competitive opportunities in Volleyball
- to promote Volleyball within the local community
- to ensure a duty of care to all members of the club
- to ensure that all present and future members receive fair and equal treatment
Membership
If you wish to participate in our training sessions then you must be a member of the club. The membership fee is currently £40 which is paid annually. To become a member please use the details on the Contact us page to let us know and we'll take you through the process. For your safety it is important that the club is informed of any medical condition or allergies that may be relevant should you fall ill or be involved in an accident while at the club.
JuniorsThe club provides opportunities for young people between the ages of 12 and 18 to receive coaching and access to competition. All coaching is by qualified coaches who are trained and have been screened for their suitability for working with young people. Our Junior Co-ordinator is Emily Keel.

As a club we essentially follow the Volleyball England guidelines and child protection strategy. All of our coaches are Safe-guard trained, DBS checked and qualified, this way we know how to implement protocols and respond appropriately to any issues or concerns.
