Also don't forget this Friday brings the return of Development League!! For anyone who hasn't taken part before, Dev league is a brilliant fun league that runs for three sets of 6 weeks throughout the year. Always on Friday nights from7, development league is a beginner/improver league for non-local league players and an excellent opportunity to play matches against other local teams. Our own juniors and adults will be taking part as well as teams from Uea, Medusa and more. Good luck to all our players taking part-if you aren't playing, please do come along to cheer our players on. Go Spikers!!!! Did you know.......
This year we have 6 teams playing across the local leagues! Two mixed junior teams, Junior women, Junior men, Mixed adults and the Mens team have all been playing and are doing amazingly! Keep an eye out here for updated match results as they continue through the league. On top of this we anticipate three Spikers teams in the first round of development league so good luck to everyone involved in that when it starts on Nov 2nd. On top of the 9 teams ive already mentioned, Spikers are extremely proud to not only have three teams playing in this years Eastern region tournaments (Junior girls, Junior boys and Spikers Men) but also to have players in 7 national teams- we are represented in the Boys U15, Girls U15, Boys U16, Girls U16, Men U18, Women U18 and the Norfolk Mens team. Good luck to ALL players involved! All of our teams always really appreciate supporters so any time you're free to come along to matches and cheer everyone on, it is always massively appreciated. This Friday we have Spikers Junior Men and Spikers Adult Men both playing on different courts for Mens league (7-10.20, HAYDN MORRIS) so please swing by and say hello. Also this Sunday Eastern region tournament kicks off so again, please do come along to support our brilliant players and look out for how they all do!!
